Individualized Driver Training at Denver and Colorado Springs Trucking School We pride ourselves on giving students individualized CDL training. In the classroom, there is one instructor for every 21 students. For the laboratory and range training, there is one instructor for every six students. Our truck driving school students are at an advantage because they train at two of the most modern facilities in the country. The Denver truck driving school campus is conveniently located in the city of Wheat Ridge; approximately 10 minutes west of downtown, adjacent to Interstate 70. The other campus is in Colorado Springs, about 20 minutes south of downtown Colorado Springs and 20 minutes north of the city of Pueblo. The Colorado Springs truck driving school is near exit 118 on I-25. Students practice their skills on these driving ranges and on local road and interstate highways. Students at our truck driving school learn through our great resources and modern, well-maintained equipment. Our driver resources include a student manual, instructional videos, and the DOT manual. Individuals get comfortable filling out practice logs, daily log books, and using overheads for breaking system. Finally, students learn defensive driving skills and operate several tractor trailer combination vehicles in the driver training programs. How to Pay for Colorado Truck Driving School Financing for tuition is available to those who qualify. Trucking school applicants are encouraged to ask for details when they enroll. Students have the opportunity to receive loans or enroll in state or local financial assistance programs. We also offer several educational and financial assistance programs to assist veterans and active service members, reservists, dependents and spouses. Eligible students may use Work Force WIOA programs, Vocational Rehabilitation, Veterans Affairs – Post 911 GI Bill, and Scholarship Programs. Our truck driving school is open to in-state and out-of-state students, with the tuition rates being the same for both. While we do not provide student housing, our staff can help out-of-state students find suitable and affordable housing.
